It's no secret that the Academy Awards are extra white. There's not a single black actor nominated for an award for the second straight year, and Twitter has been having a field day with that news via #OscarsSoWhite today.

That's probably putting Oscars host Chris Rock in a weird position. The comedian stopped short of using the #OscarsSoWhite hashtag, but he definitely made a quiet nod to the situation by referring to the Oscars as the "white BET awards" when he posted a new teaser for the show.

The 87th Academy Awards air Sunday, Feb. 22, at 8:30 p.m. on ABC.
