Tamar Braxton is opening up about a terrifying incident she faced over the weekend where she says she almost died.
Braxton took to her Instagram page Tuesday, August 19 where she reposted a quote on her story that said, "Thank you God for waking me up today."
The then went on to explain, "I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can't even really talk anymore I'm so weak. I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury."
Braxton continues, "As the days go by the worse it is. I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. The way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins. Pray for me for real I don't even know what happened to me."
It's currently unclear what happened to Braxton and where she was when she was found by her friend, but the incident was clearly serious.
Braxton did not share any photos showing her extensive injuries.
As of late, Braxton has been featured on the reality show The Braxtons on We TV, as the show gears up for its second season. She was also recently on the October Nights: Calling all Lovers Tour with October London and Ro James.
Just before the tour kicked off, Braxton vowed to make her health a priority, writing on Instagram, "Bday is over so no more drinks…. No more carbs… all body and VOICE!!!"
Tamar, who regularly posts on social media has been quiet in the last few days before posting the news about her scary injury, only putting up promo for an upcoming television appearance.
Fans were obviously concerned when hearing the news, offering up prayers and well-wishes for Braxton on her road to recovery.
