Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement announcement set social media on fire, but where does it rank in the most-liked Instagram posts of all time?

TMZ reports at one point following Swift's Instagram post, the app became so overwhelmed by users that some were temporarily unable to access the platform—however, the issue was quickly resolved.

In less than 24 hours, the post had generated more than 30 million 'likes'—ranking it as 20th most-liked post in Instagram history, but it's still got a long way to go in order to crack the top 10.

Here's what Swift is going up against:

9. Cristiano Ronaldo Takes an Icy Dip in Finland (2024): 35.7M

While Swift still has several-million likes to go before cracking the top ten, her fans have always been extremely loyal and there's a good chance the post will continue to make noise on the popular platform.

Her fans also made a dent on TikTok in the minutes following her engagement announcement, posting their wild reactions to the news.
