Charlie Sheen is opening up about his past—including a moment where an insult from a sex worker caused him so much pain, he decided to get liposuction.
In Sheen's new memoir The Book of Sheen, the actor describes a moment back in 2000 that really stuck with him. The former Two and a Half Men star says he was in Toronto shooting the movie Rated X with his brother, Emilio Estevez, when the whole thing went down.
Sheen says one lonely night he decided to find some company, turning through the Yellow Pages of Bell Canada until he ordered a "gorgeous brunette."
Sheen describes the encounter by saying after the two enjoyed a cigarette following their first round of action, the woman reached over and slapped his bare stomach. Sheen says the slap echoed in the room and got his attention.
However, it's what the woman said that really got to Sheen. He says the stomach slap was followed by, "Whattya say, Fatso. You up for round two?"
Sheen writes in the memoir, "Wow. Jeez, lady, you had 10,000 nicknames to choose from and you went with that?" He continues, "I wanted to blow my brains out. It's amazing where one word can send a guy."
Sheen claims as soon as he finished shooting the movie and got back to Los Angeles he went straight to a doctor for liposuction.
Sheen blamed his weight gain during that time on getting sober, adding its "pretty common for a lot of folks to gain a buncha weight after getting sober, especially when stimulants were their drug of choice." He continues, "I'd rather be a bit soft and alive than crack-skinny and f****ing dead."
Sheen's memoir is now available, and he's also got a documentary coming out on Netflix September 10 titled aka Charlie Sheen that will dive even further into the actor's controversial past.
