Brad Pitt is the proud new owner of a pricey pad in Los Angeles, a place previously owned by a well-known rock star.

The home, located in Los Angeles' Outpost Estates, has plenty of room for Pitt to spread out and relax. It's got six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and more than 8,000 square feet of living space within the Spanish-style home.

Pitt reportedly paid $12 million for the new spot, built in 1989, which comes complete with a gated entry and security system in place to protect the movie star.

The listing, from agents Sam Collins, David Parnes and James Harris, states: "Throughout the home, every lighting fixture from chandelier to hanging pendant, has been hand-selected and sourced from Europe, each piece a unique statement of vintage luxury tailored to its specific setting."

Of course, like any must-have for celebs living in the hills, the house has views. The listing adds there are, "Expansive windows frame breathtaking city and ocean views, wrapping each space in a dynamic interplay of light and texture. Upstairs, the primary suite is a private retreat crowned by another Murano glass chandelier."

Pitt will also have plenty of room to entertain his celebrity friends and guests. The pad has a movie theater, beautiful outdoor pool, barbecue area, fire pit and plenty of lounging space outdoors.

Pitt bought the house from The Killers guitarist Dave Keuning and his wife, Emilie Keuning. Prior to the rocker, it was owned by Grindr founder Joel Simkhai. The couple reportedly bought the home from Simkhai back in 2021 for $9.6 million.

Pitt has certainly been active in the real estate world as of late. He purchased a home in Carmel Highlands back in 2022 for $40 million and recently sold his home in Los Feliz for $33 million. He later bought a $5.5 million pad in the same part of town.

Pitt was represented by Marci Kays and Jonathan Mogharrabi in the sale.
