A recent tour stop turned into a full-circle moment for Kayla Nicole — and this time, it happened onstage next to Toni Braxton herself.

During a performance of “He Wasn’t Man Enough for Me,” Braxton surprised the crowd by bringing the model and social media influencer out to dance alongside her mid-song.

The moment took place on Braxton’s current tour run with New Edition and Boyz II Men, with the Grammy-winning singer delivering the early-2000s anthem to a packed arena before motioning for Nicole to join her under the lights.

Braxton later shared a video of the moment on Instagram on Sunday, February 1, showing Nicole smiling, moving to the music, and clearly soaking it in as the crowd cheered.

Her caption doubled as both a thank-you and a subtle show of support: “Thank you @iamkaylanicole for everything! You were spectacular niece. 🧡.”

Nicole didn’t hide her excitement either. In the comments, she kept it simple and direct: “Best. day. EVER ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

For anyone who’s been following Nicole online lately, the song choice wasn’t random.

The Braxton classic became part of her own Halloween storyline just a few months ago. In October, Nicole dressed as Braxton from the original “He Wasn’t Man Enough” music video, recreating the look and lip-syncing to the lyrics in a social media post.

The costume quickly went viral, with fans debating whether it was aimed at her ex, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who is now engaged to Taylor Swift.

Nicole later addressed the chatter on her podcast, saying the idea wasn’t tied to Swift at all. Instead, she described it as a childhood memory. “I had a white best friend. Her name was Taylor,” she explained, recalling hearing the song years ago while riding in her friend’s mom’s car. The memory, she said, stuck with her.

Still, the timing led to speculation. Swift had recently released a new album that fans believed contained lyrics referencing one of Kelce’s past relationships. From there, social media ran with theories, and the costume sparked heavy online discussion.

The attention didn’t stop at Halloween. Old tweets from Nicole resurfaced soon after, prompting backlash and ultimately leading her to deactivate her X account.
