Sydney Sweeney is making it very clear where she stands on persistent plastic surgery rumors — and she’s not mincing words.

In a newly released video interview with Allure, the Euphoria and The Housemaid star addressed long-running speculation about her appearance, directly denying claims that she’s had cosmetic work done.

When asked to debunk a beauty-related rumor, Sweeney didn’t hesitate.

“Let’s debunk them all,” she said plainly. “I have never gotten work done.” She then offered a simple reason why the idea doesn’t add up: “I am so scared of needles, you have no idea.”

Sweeney, who appeared in the video alongside her Housemaid co-star Amanda Seyfried, pointed out how online comparisons often ignore basic reality. Having grown up in the spotlight, she says people frequently place side-by-side photos from completely different stages of her life.

“You cannot compare a photo of me from when I was 12 to a photo of me at 26 with professional makeup and lighting,” she explained. “Of course I’m going to look different.” Summing up the discourse in blunt fashion, she added, “Everybody on social media’s insane.”

The conversation stayed lighthearted at times, with Seyfried joking about cosmetic procedures later in life. Sweeney laughed along, playfully replying, “I’ll call you,” while making it clear that any future decisions weren’t on today’s agenda.

This isn’t the first time Sweeney has pushed back against speculation about plastic surgery. In an earlier interview, she echoed many of the same points, emphasizing again that she hasn’t had any cosmetic procedures.

“I’ve never gotten anything done. I’m absolutely terrified of needles,” she said. “No tattoos. Nothing. I’m going to age gracefully.”

She also addressed the obsession with “comparison photos” in that interview, noting how frequently childhood images are used to support unfounded claims. “I’m 12 in that photo,” she said. “Of course I’m going to look different. I have makeup on now, and I’m 15 years older.”

Sweeney has acknowledged that the only surgery she ever seriously considered was a breast reduction as a teenager, something she ultimately decided against.
