Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo is breaking her silence.

According to People, the 41-year-old reality personality and professor made her first public appearance since being arrested last month, stepping onstage during The Real Housewives of Potomac panel at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas.

Joined by castmates Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Tia Glover, Angel Massie, Monique Samuels, Keiarna Stewart, and Stacey Rusch, Osefo addressed the audience at Caesars Forum on Friday, November 14.

It marked her first major appearance since she and her husband, attorney Edward “Eddie” Osefo, were taken into custody in October on multiple fraud charges in Westminster, Maryland.

“You know, it’s an unfortunate situation, and right now I can’t say too much, but I will say when the time is right, I will share my story with everyone,” Wendy told the crowd. “For now, they’re just allegations. So we will continue to push forward.”

She went on to thank fans for their messages and support. “I have read every single one,” she said. “To those who have reached out to my family during this time—thank you.”

Wendy also expressed gratitude to her RHOP costars, naming Stacey Rusch and Monique Samuels as the first to reach out to her after the news broke. “I am just so grateful for the support I’ve gotten from my cast members, as well as our production team, as well as Bravo,” she added. “I am overwhelmed by the love, so thank you so much.”

The panel, held on BravoCon’s Gold Stage, celebrated the milestone 10th season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, which premiered Oct. 5.

Wendy joined RHOP in 2020 during its fifth season, balancing her television career with work in academia and political commentary. She became the first Black woman to earn a Ph.D. in Public Affairs–Community Development from Rutgers University (Camden) and has appeared as a contributor on several national news networks.

Her husband, Eddie, is an attorney and the founder of the cannabis lifestyle brand Happy Eddie. The couple, who share three children—Karter, 12; Kruz, 10; and Kamrynn, 6—were charged with 16 counts, including seven felonies connected to alleged insurance fraud stemming from a 2024 burglary report in Jamaica.

Following her arrest, Wendy posted a brief message on Instagram on October 19, thanking supporters and writing, “GOD remains faithful.”
