Real Housewives of Potomac mainstay Karen Huger made her first major public appearance since leaving jail — and the crowd at BravoCon 2025 made sure she felt every bit of the love.

According to Us Weekly, the 62-year-old reality star appeared in Las Vegas on Friday, November 14, to present the opening award at The Bravos, marking the start of the network’s three-day fan convention.

When Huger walked onstage, the audience immediately rose to its feet, giving her a lengthy standing ovation that left her visibly emotional.

Earlier that day, the RHOP panel featured cast members Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, and Wendy Osefo. Though Huger skipped the panel itself, her co-stars confirmed she was in Vegas and would participate in weekend events.

Huger’s return to the spotlight came two months after she quietly completed her sentence at Maryland’s Montgomery County Detention Center. She was released in September after serving six months of a one-year term stemming from a 2024 drunk-driving conviction.

Police said the Real Housewives personality was behind the wheel of her 2017 Maserati when she struck several signs and a divider in Potomac, Maryland. In December 2024, a jury found her guilty on multiple counts, including DUI, DWI, negligent driving, and failure to control speed. She was sentenced in February 2025 to two years in jail, with one year suspended.

At the time of the accident, Huger issued a public statement describing the incident as a frightening wake-up call. “I am still in shock from last night’s experience but grateful to be alive today,” she said, thanking fans for their support and crediting her seatbelt — and her late mother, whom she called her “guardian angel” — for saving her life.

Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac documents that journey in real time. A preview shown at BravoCon captured Huger’s tearful release, as she asked her driver, “Do we have tissues in here?” before breaking down.

The midseason trailer also teased an upcoming sit-down with Andy Cohen. “I heard things from her that I’ve never heard before,” Cohen said during a backstage interview, praising Huger’s honesty and vulnerability.
