The era of Staten Island side-eyes, sit-downs, and dinner-table blowups is back. Mob Wives is officially in development, with original cast member Renee Graziano attached to lead the next chapter.

According to TMZ, multiple networks are circling a reboot as the so-called “mob wife aesthetic” continues to trend across fashion and social media. While the big hair, leather, animal print, and zero tolerance for disrespect may be viral, the franchise built that vibe more than a decade ago.

This time around, the OG Graziano is set to be front and center. Familiar faces from the original run could pop in, though the full lineup hasn’t been locked down.

One name that won’t be on the call sheet: Drita D'Avanzo.

She confirmed she was approached but declined, choosing instead to focus on other work. D’Avanzo is currently tied up with Season 3 of House of Villains and developing a scripted series, expected to be shopped to buyers this spring.

Behind the scenes, Jennifer Graziano, who produced the original series, is helping guide the revival. Production is expected to ramp up later this year as details fall into place.

When asked recently about a possible return, Renee kept it close to the vest, pivoting instead to promote her interactive dinner-theater experience, Married by the Mob, which drops guests into a staged mob wedding.

For anyone who needs a refresher, the show premiered on VH1 in 2011 and followed women in Staten Island whose family members or partners were connected to organized crime.

Over six seasons, it spun off into specials and regional editions, becoming one of the network’s most recognizable reality brands.

And looming over all of it is the legacy of Angela "Big Ang" Raiola—a breakout presence whose warmth, one-liners, and larger-than-life energy made her an icon. Even years after her passing, she remains the emotional anchor fans associate with the franchise.
