‘RHOA’ Star Pinky Cole Claims Creditor Locked Her Out of Atlanta Home Amid Bankruptcy

The Slutty Vegan founder says a management company ignored her Chapter 11 protections, changed the locks, and cut off a key income stream.

A new court filing from RHOA cast member and Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole Hayes is drawing attention after she claimed a creditor seized one of her Atlanta-area properties and changed the locks—despite her ongoing bankruptcy case.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Pinky Cole says Guardian Asset Management took control of a six-bedroom home she owns in Loganville, Georgia, placing a notice on the property and locking her out. The filing alleges the move came after she had already filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, a process that typically halts collection activity through an automatic stay.

According to the United States Bankruptcy Code, an automatic stay is designed to pause creditor actions, including property seizures or foreclosures. However, creditors can petition the court for permission to proceed under certain conditions, such as missed payments or disputes over equity. In this case, Pinky Cole’s legal team maintains that no such approval was granted.

Her legal team argues that the seizure has disrupted her ability to generate income, noting that the home was intended to be rented, with a tenant expected to move in on April 1.

“This was an investment property that was unlawfully seized from Ms. Cole,” her attorney Jamie Christy said, adding that the action “violated the automatic stay imposed in Ms. Cole’s bankruptcy case.”

The situation arises as Pinky Cole continues to expand her public profile. The entrepreneur, known for building Slutty Vegan into a nationally recognized plant-based brand, was recently announced as a new cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Her business, which launched as a food truck in 2018, quickly grew into a multi-location operation known for reimagining comfort food with a vegan twist.

The bankruptcy case itself stems from mounting financial pressures tied to that rapid growth. Earlier filings showed Pinky Cole Hayes owes more than $1.4 million, including debts to the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Additional legal challenges followed, including a lawsuit over more than $87,000 in unpaid rent tied to Atlanta storefronts.

The latest filing also outlines the broader financial strain, with Pinky Cole Hayes stating she is currently unemployed and relying largely on her husband’s reported $15,000 monthly income while restructuring her obligations.

The dispute adds another layer to an already complex rebuilding phase for Slutty Vegan. After previously regaining control of the company through a state-level restructuring, Pinky Cole Hayes announced plans to franchise the brand as part of a long-term recovery strategy.
