Keith Lee is officially bringing Familee Day to New Orleans this spring, and the newly announced performance lineup makes it clear the event is aiming to blend food, culture, and live entertainment under one roof.

According to local news station Fox8 Live, Familee Day is scheduled for May 16 at UNO’s Lakefront Arena and marks Lee’s first-ever food and entertainment festival.

The one-day event will feature a curated Food Village, live music, carnival-style attractions, and a family-friendly obstacle course, all designed around community connection and local support.

The music lineup spans genres and generations, with performances from Kirk Franklin, Mannie Fresh, Tobe Nwigwe, and Andra Day. The bill also includes La Reezy, Ha Sizzle, Shamar, Subtweet Shawn, Rude Jude, DJ Arie Spins, Neace Robinson, DJ RBD, and DJ Keith Scott. Hosting duties will be handled by comedian and content creator Kevin 'KevOnStage' Fredericks.

Beyond the stage, Familee Day leans heavily into food culture. Lee personally curated the Food Village, spotlighting independently owned restaurants and vendors. The goal, according to the festival’s organizers, is to create a space where local businesses can thrive while attendees experience the city’s culinary range in one place.

Lee said the idea for Familee Day grew out of the reception he and his family received during previous visits to New Orleans.

“New Orleans showed my family and me so much love and that stayed with me,” he said in a statement. “Familee Day is my way of giving that love back, bringing people together, supporting local businesses, and celebrating the culture and food that makes New Orleans so special.”

Produced in partnership with Live Nation Urban and Morrow Hospitality, Familee Day positions itself as a hybrid of festival, food fair, and community gathering.

General ticket sales open February 10 at 10 a.m. CT, with more details available through the official Familee Day site.
