Glen Powell is expanding his résumé beyond Hollywood.

According to Elite Daily, the actor, who co-founded the clean-label pantry brand Smash Kitchen, is now stepping into the snack space with a nationwide launch of kettle-style potato chips.

The new chips are available at Walmart stores, placing Smash Kitchen directly inside the $40 billion salty snack category—one of the most competitive aisles in grocery retail.

The chips come in 6-ounce bags of Non-GMO kettle chips. The debut lineup includes four flavors: Classic Sea Salt, American Style BBQ, Hot Honey BBQ, and Rosemary.

The Hot Honey BBQ draws inspiration from one of the brand’s existing sweet-heat condiments, which Powell has described as a personal favorite.

The chips are made with U.S.-grown, non-GMO potatoes and cooked in small batches. According to the company, the focus remains on straightforward ingredients and bold flavor, consistent with Smash Kitchen’s broader product strategy.

Powell previously explained the motivation behind launching Smash Kitchen, pointing to his upbringing and changing relationship with food.

“Growing up around epic barbecue feasts at our family ranch in Texas, food was always an expression of love,” he said, according to RetailWire. “Through fitness, I became more aware and educated on better-for-you foods — and I started to see just how many questionable ingredients were hiding in everyday pantry staples. It was clear we needed to make a clean condiment brand—no second-guessing, just great flavors that connect us to the moments we love.”

Since launching in April 2025, Smash Kitchen has introduced organic ketchup, yellow mustard, mayonnaise—including a seasonal cranberry variety—and barbecue sauces.

By October of that same year, the brand added cooking oils to its lineup.

This latest expansion into chips marks its first entry into snack foods, signaling a broader push into high-frequency grocery staples.

All Smash Kitchen products retail for under $5—including the new chips, which clock in at $3.47—and emphasize ingredient sourcing, including cage-free eggs, vine-ripened California tomatoes, premium organic mustard seeds, and True Source-certified honey.
