Natasha Lyonne is once again commanding attention at the Cannes Film Festival — this time for a barely-there look that instantly became one of the week’s most talked-about fashion moments.

The Poker Face and Euphoria star stepped out at the Avedon after-party presented by Don Julio, Imagine Entertainment, and Vanity Fair wearing a sheer, glitter-covered black minidress. InStyle provided a detailed breakdown of the outfit: a long-sleeved get-up featuring a pointed lace-trimmed hemline, visible high-waisted underwear, sheer tights, and slouchy over-the-knee boots.

Photos from the event quickly circulated online as fans and fashion watchers zeroed in on the actor’s latest “free the nipple” moment. Lyonne completed the look with black sunglasses, layered jewelry, and a Valentino handbag while wearing her signature curly red hair in a dramatic side part.

She was later photographed outside the venue alongside boyfriend Matthew Avedon, adding a white feather-trimmed jacket and cap to the ensemble.

The appearance marks another high-profile moment for Lyonne during a busy stretch that has included her addition to Euphoria Season 3 and a string of fashion-heavy public appearances.

The actor has increasingly leaned into vintage Hollywood-inspired styling over the past few years, previously explaining that she views red-carpet fashion as much a performance as a form of personal expression.

That philosophy has become increasingly visible in her recent wardrobe choices. In the past year alone, Lyonne has worn sheer bodysuits, plunging metallic gowns, lace-heavy corset looks, and liquid-style black dresses across premieres, galas, and fashion events.

The Cannes appearance also arrives weeks after Lyonne found herself at the center of a very different kind of headline. Last month, the actress was escorted off a Delta flight traveling from Los Angeles to New York shortly after attending the Euphoria Season 3 premiere.

Witnesses claimed Lyonne appeared disoriented while seated in first class and did not respond to repeated instructions from flight attendants before the plane returned to the gate.

The actress later exited the aircraft without incident after airline staff asked whether she needed medical assistance.

Lyonne had spoken publicly about relapsing earlier this year, then later told fans she was “doing a whole lot better” and “back on her feet.”

Federal aviation rules also prohibit airlines from allowing visibly impaired passengers to fly, placing pressure on flight crews to intervene before takeoff if safety becomes a concern.
