Deepak Chopra is responding after newly surfaced emails tied to Jeffrey Epstein revealed repeated references to “your girls” in conversations between the two.

According to USA Today, the messages, released as part of a broader Department of Justice review of Epstein-related files, span several years and include invitations, travel discussions, and personal exchanges.

In multiple emails from 2017, Chopra invited Epstein to events and trips, at times explicitly encouraging him to “bring your girls.”

One February 2017 message shows Chopra inviting Epstein on a trip to Israel, writing, “If you want use a fake name. Bring your girls.”

After Epstein declined, Chopra followed up: “Your girls would love it as would you. Be well. Sending love.”

Later that year, Chopra extended another invitation, this time to a workshop in Switzerland, again referencing Epstein attending “with your girls.”

The emails also show logistical conversations, including Epstein asking whether Chopra planned to stay overnight at his residence. Chopra responded that he could, provided he could leave early the next morning due to prior commitments.

In a statement posted February 4, Chopra addressed the tone and content of those exchanges while denying any involvement in wrongdoing.

“I was never involved in, nor did I participate in, any criminal or exploitative conduct,” he wrote. “Some past email exchanges have surfaced that reflect poor judgment in tone. I regret that and understand how they read today, given what was publicly known at the time.”

He added that his current focus is on “supporting accountability, prevention, and efforts that protect and support survivors.”

The communications place Chopra’s name repeatedly within the broader Epstein document archive, which includes a wide range of materials, including emails, contact references, and third-party mentions.

The volume of appearances varies depending on how the files are searched, but the exchanges between Chopra and Epstein appear concentrated in 2017.

The release of these materials has triggered renewed scrutiny of public figures whose names appear in connection with Epstein.

That dynamic has also played out for Whoopi Goldberg, who recently addressed her own mention in the same document release.

Speaking on The View, Goldberg clarified that her name appeared in a single 2013 email involving a request for a private plane to attend a charity event in Monaco connected to Julian Lennon’s White Feather Foundation.

“In the name of transparency, my name is in the files,” Goldberg said during the broadcast, before explaining that the request was made through a third party and ultimately declined by Epstein.

She firmly rejected any suggestion of a personal relationship. “I wasn’t his girlfriend. I wasn’t his friend,” Goldberg said, adding that she never traveled with him. “No, I didn’t get on the plane.”

Goldberg also addressed the online reaction, saying she has been “getting dragged” despite the reference's limited nature.

Her co-host Joy Behar noted during the segment that “anybody can be on this list.”
