Charlie Sheen has been married three times and is the father of five children, spread across multiple relationships that have long played out under public scrutiny.

According to USA Today, the actor shares his oldest daughter, Cassandra, with his high school girlfriend. He later welcomed his daughters, Sami and Lola, with his second wife, actress Denise Richards. Sheen’s third marriage to actress Brooke Mueller produced twin sons, Bob and Max, who are now 16 years old.

It’s that final chapter of Sheen’s family tree that’s back in court.

According to newly filed court documents in Los Angeles Superior Court, Mueller claims her ex-husband has failed to meet his child support obligations for their twins for more than a decade.

The filing, submitted on Thursday, December 4, alleges that Sheen owes nearly $9 million in unpaid support dating back to March 2011, shortly after their marriage ended.

Mueller’s attorneys state that the total allegedly owed is $8,967,600 in unpaid child support, not including interest. The filing demands payment through December 2025, or a formal response from Sheen within 30 days.

On top of that figure, Mueller is also seeking $6,418,643 in interest and an additional $25,000 in legal fees, which pushes the overall claim well beyond the initial headline number.

In a declaration included with the filing, Mueller alleges that Sheen stopped paying a court-ordered $55,000 per month starting in July 2011 and has not consistently resumed full payments since.

The documents claim Sheen “failed to pay the full court-ordered child support amounts” over the period covered by the filing.

Sheen and Mueller were married from 2008 to 2011, a relationship marked by legal disputes, highly publicized substance abuse struggles on both sides, and a series of custody hearings throughout their divorce.
