Candace Cameron Bure is preparing for a major new role off-screen: grandmother. The Full House actress’s daughter, Natasha Bure, announced this week that she is expecting her first child with husband Bradley Steven Perry, less than a year after the couple got married.
According to E! News, Natasha, 27, shared the news on May 7 in a joint Instagram post with Perry, the former Disney Channel actor best known for Good Luck Charlie. The couple posted maternity photos featuring matching blue striped shirts and coffee mugs labeled “Mama” and “Dada,” while Natasha showed off her baby bump. “Our dream role,” they captioned the post.
The announcement quickly drew attention online, with Candace Cameron Bure publicly celebrating the news in the comments. “CandyGram in full effect,” she wrote beneath the post before sharing photos of the couple on her own Instagram account alongside the caption, “I’m gonna be a Candy Gram!!!!!!”
The pregnancy marks a new chapter for the Bure family, which has remained in the public eye for decades through television, film, and social media. Candace Cameron Bure rose to fame playing D.J. Tanner on Full House before returning to the role for Netflix’s Fuller House.
In recent years, she has continued to build a presence in family-focused and faith-based entertainment alongside her husband, Valeri Bure, the former NHL player she married in 1996.
Natasha and Perry tied the knot in September 2025 in front of friends and family. At the time, Candace praised Perry in a message shared online, writing, “We couldn’t have asked for a kinder man than Bradley to love and care for our girl.” She also called Natasha “radiant inside and out” and said her “heart swells with happiness” for the couple.
The baby news arrives during a period when Candace has been especially open about her personal life and family dynamics on her podcast and social media platforms.
Earlier this year, the actress made headlines after recounting an uncomfortable experience in which she and Valeri accidentally attended what she described as an underground S&M-themed party. She has also spoken candidly in recent months about marriage, faith, and intimacy.
