Blac Chyna isn’t raising mini influencers—and she’s perfectly fine with that.

While attending the Starry Starry Night Gala in Palm Desert, California, the entrepreneur and reality TV alum opened up about how her children feel about social media, saying it barely registers in their world.

Speaking with People at the January 31 event, Blac Chyna said her son King Cairo, 13, and daughter Dream, 9, have little interest in apps like Instagram or TikTok.

“King and Dream, they don’t care about Instagram or TikTok or any of these type of things at all,” she said. “They don’t care.”

For Blac Chyna, whose own public life has unfolded largely online, that disconnect feels intentional. She explained that she’s focused on creating a sense of balance for her kids, one that protects their childhood without completely isolating them from the real world.

“They’re just being kids, and I’m letting them be kids,” she said. “I’m not putting them in certain things to disturb their inner childhood. I’m keeping them sheltered, but not too sheltered—just enough.”

Blac Chyna shares King with rapper Tyga and Dream with Rob Kardashian. Over the years, she’s spoken candidly about the challenges of co-parenting in the public eye, but she’s remained consistent about what she believes makes it work.

In past interviews, she’s emphasized that healthy co-parenting comes down to clear communication and firm boundaries.

“The main thing is communication,” she previously told Access Hollywood, adding that boundaries help parents stay focused on what matters most. “Ultimately, focus on the kid, show respect, have boundaries and communication, and you should have a healthy co-parenting life.”

She has also been open about her progress with Kardashian, noting that their dynamic has improved over time. “My co-parenting with Rob is 100 percent amazing,” she said. “Things do get better.”

Outside of parenting, Blac Chyna says she’s currently prioritizing herself. She shared that she’s stepping back from dating and putting her energy into personal growth, wellness, and routine. That includes regular gym sessions and paying closer attention to nutrition.

“I’m giving all the love to myself,” she said. “If love is going to find me, it’s going to find me—but I need to heal myself first.”
