Bernice Burgos is opening up about a new chapter in her body journey—and this time, she’s bringing fans all the way inside the process.
The model and entrepreneur recently documented her BBL removal and body contouring procedure on TikTok, sharing footage from Beverly Hills, California, where she worked with Dr. Ashkan Gavami.
According to Gavami, who described himself as an early figure in modern body contouring, “I’ve been doing these since 2007,” he said, as he walked Burgos through the plan.
Instead of adding volume, the goal this time was refinement. Burgos explained that she wasn’t trying to completely change her body. “I just want to reshape my butt,” she said, noting that she still liked how she looked overall.
Gavami’s approach focused on achieving what he described as a “legging-tight look without the leggings.” To do that, he used Quantum RF, a minimally invasive treatment that uses controlled radiofrequency energy to tighten skin and improve its contour.
The procedure works by heating deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin while also breaking down fat cells, which are then assisted in removal by lymphatic massage. It’s commonly used for areas like the abdomen, thighs, and arms, with results developing gradually over several months.
The treatment doesn’t involve large incisions or extended downtime, making it a different route from traditional surgical enhancements. Burgos shared clips from pre-op through recovery.
Burgos, who rose to prominence during the video vixen era and later became a major figure in nightlife at New York’s Starlets, has spent years in the public eye.
That visibility helped build her platform, which now includes more than 7.2 million Instagram followers and a growing fashion and lifestyle brand. But when it comes to her personal life, she’s moved in the opposite direction.
During a recent appearance on The Ish Podcast, Burgos made it clear that her relationships are off-limits. “I’m not going to sit here and say I’m in a relationship or not. That’s none of your business,” she said.
It’s a shift rooted in experience. Burgos said that in the past, posting moments from her relationships—gifts, holidays, or milestones—only created more attention from outsiders. “What I’m doing, I’m putting it out there for another woman to want my man. For what?” she said.
Now, she keeps that part of her life offline entirely. “The privacy is privacy,” she added, emphasizing that she only shares what she chooses to.
