Social media is still unpacking what exactly is going on between Al B. Sure and Luenell after the two shared a series of affectionate posts that quickly set off dating rumors.
According to The Grio, the conversation began when Luenell posted a carousel on Instagram earlier this month featuring photos and video clips of her and the R&B singer, looking comfortable and close, including a brief kiss.
In the caption, she wrote, “Up it’s Love. @officialalbsure and ya Gurl. If you know, you know. 🥰 Finally out of the shadows. 2026, let’s GO baby.”
Al B. Sure leaned into the moment in the comments, responding with a message that left little room for ambiguity. “HNY Beloveds 🎉 Don’t call us A.I., call us A.L. ‘Al B. & Luenell,’” he wrote, adding, “My #BooBooKitty 🐈⬛ … Stay Tuned.”
That exchange alone went viral, but the pair followed up with an even more candid video.
In a cozy clip shared soon after, Luenell addressed the mixed reactions directly. “Not that we need to really clear anything up,” she said, before adding, “I think that people feel I’m unworthy of your love, darling, because they love you so much.” Sure quickly cut in with a laugh, responding, “I’m unworthy."
The tone shifted when Sure spoke more seriously about their connection. “I have such respect and admiration for this woman,” he said.
Referencing his past health struggles, he continued, “You know I was in a coma. And you calling me, talking in my ear, while I was on the other side… I just appreciate you. I honor you.”
