‘Wizards Of Waverly Place’ Star Dan Benson Reflects on Adult Film Career: ‘I Feel Like a Badass’

Benson appeared as the recurring character Zeke Beakerman in two seasons of the Disney Channel original series.

Former Wizards of Waverly Place actor Dan Benson has opened up about his pivot to the world of pornography.

Benson appeared in two seasons of the Disney Channel series as Zeke Beakerman, starring alongside Selena Gomez in what went on to become her breakthrough role as an actress. These days, however, he's appearing on camera in a significantly different context, which he said has been mostly a positive experience in the one year he's been making pornography.

"Hi! I'm Dan Benson, I'm the actor who played the character Zeke Beakerman on Wizards of Waverly Place," he said in a video talking about his first year in the industry. "I've been doing adult entertainment for about a year now. My first reaction is, uh... confusion. Because I expected a lot more hate and instead people have just been like, 'Go you! Empowerment.' Which is awesome. Mental health-wise, I feel good! I don't feel bad about myself. I feel kind of like a badass a little bit."

Despite the mostly positive experience, he said there have been some negatives to the career change, too. "There are plenty of people on a daily basis asking me and demanding I do things that I don't feel comfortable doing," he continued. "But I've kind of just been in a position to be like, 'No, you're gonna get what you're gonna get. You're gonna get what I'm comfortable with sharing with the world.' Which, now, is quite a bit! So anyway, I'm feeling good. I'm excited about the future and I don't really feel bad about my decisions at all."

He went on to thank those who have supported his endeavors, whether that be his content on OnlyFans or through his SFW material shared on TikTok.

Alongside his pornographic content on two different OnlyFans, one billed as a "VIP" subscription and the other featuring free material, he also has a Fansly and a YouTube account, where he shared updates on what he's up to alongside comedy sketches. It's safe to say he's more than happy with his career, as he's currently in the top 0.15 percent of creators on OnlyFans.
