After tweeting about his interest in purchasing TikTok before it gets banned in the United States, mega popular YouTuber MrBeast has revealed that he's spoken with multiple billionaires interested in getting involved.

In a post shared on Monday, the YouTuber, whose his real name is Jimmy Donaldson, tweeted, "Okay, fine, I'll buy TIk Tok so it doesn't get banned."

The social media platform's parent company, ByteDance, has been ordered the sell TikTok or else face a ban in America.

In a follow-up the next day, MrBeast added, "Unironically I've had so many billionaires reach out to me since I tweeted this, let's see if we can pull this off."

In a post shared on TikTok on Wednesday, MrBeast shared that he's been actively talking to potential investors.

"Just got out a meeting with a bunch of billionaires. TikTok, we mean business," he said. "This is my lawyer right here, we have an offer ready for you. We wanna buy the platform, America deserves TikTok! Give me a seat at the table, let me save this platform, TikTok!"

TMZ reports that MrBeast, who has an estimated net worth of $500 million, would become a part-owner of TikTok if he were able to put together the sale. Multiple investor groups have expressed interest, but it's unclear how much ownership he would have over the platform. It would be a different scenario from when Elon Musk became the majority owner of Twitter, now X.

TikTok has an estimated value of $300 billion, so it's likely out of MrBeast's reach.

The Biden administration signed legislation into law last year that will ban TikTok in the country if ByteDance fails to sell it before Sunday. The legislation started its life during the Trump administration, with government officials accusing the platform of being a security threat because ByteDance is based out of Beijing.

Since then, Trump has asked the Supreme Court to delay the ban.
