Meagan Good opened up about standing by her fiancé Jonathan Majors during his assault trial and never doubting her decision to do so.
"Through the trial and everything, was there even a point in that where you were like, 'Yo, this is a lot?'" Breakfast Club host Jess Hilarious asked Good at around the 18-minute point of the interview, as seen below.
"No," she bluntly responded. "I was talking to God and I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. And I've learned along the way that not only will things not always make sense to me, but sometimes it won't make sense to other people, and that's okay as long as you are in alignment with God and you're trusting the path that you're on."
She added that she said the last time she was as happy as she is now was when she was a child. Charlamagne joked, "Did you ever say to him that's what you get for dating a white woman anyway?" Good didn't respond to the joke, but added, "Well, love is love at the end of the day."
Good and Majors started dating in 2023, shortly after he was arrested for physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. During his trial, Majors was often joined by Good. He was found guilty of one count of reckless assault in the 3rd degree and harassment as a violation but was acquitted on charges of assault and aggravated harassment. Last year, he was sentenced to 52 weeks of probation and a domestic violence intervention program.
In November 2024, the couple announced that they were engaged.
