In a video shared on Instagram, controversial adult film star and OnlyFans content creator Lily Phillips got baptized for the second time.
The 24-year-old pornographic actress, who went viral in 2024 after she slept with 101 men in one day, shared a video that showed her being rebaptized. “A day to remember forever,” the text on the clip reads. After the clip went viral, she shared a statement with Newsweek and explained it’s all about strengthening her relationship with God.
“I'm really looking forward to strengthening and growing my relationship with God and opening up conversations about how OnlyFans girls are multifaceted,” she said. “I hate that we are pigeonholed as 2D sex dolls, it can be really dehumanizing. … There might be Christians who disagree with my 'lifestyle,' but I just want to rebuild my relationship with God, and I think we should be welcoming all conversations and opportunities for people to explore religion in a way that's right for them.”
In a conversation with US Weekly, she said that she was baptized as a baby and wanted to reconnect with her Christian faith after “deviating” from religion.
“Quite a big thing happened more in my personal life, where I kind of felt the need to start speaking to God again,” said Phillips, who got rebaptized on Sunday (Dec. 28). “I hadn’t really practiced faith for a while. I just wanted to get rebaptized to kind of reinstate my relationship with God.” She added that her friends and family welcomed her decision, and that her family has “always” been religious.”
As for anyone who thinks that she’s not a “good Christian” because of her career as a pornographic actress, she said that’s “totally fine” and she understands why they feel that way. “I’m definitely not claiming to be a traditional Christian at all,” she said. “Obviously, I’m not against gay marriage. I am also pro-choice. So I definitely don’t have, necessarily, traditional values. But that doesn’t mean to say that I can’t be Christian.”
She hasn’t confirmed whether she’s turning her back on her adult video career, however, but she does want to “diversify” her portfolio in the future. “I’d love to do some more TV work,” she added. “I’d love to do some presenting… I would love to do more YouTube, maybe, show some more of my personality.”
