Kim Kardashian Says Psychics Are 'Full of Sh*t' After Failing Bar Exam: 'Pathological Liars'

Kim said at least four psychics told her she would pass the bar exam, but she didn't.

After she failed the bar exam, Kim Kardashian lost faith in psychics.

In a recent TikTok video celebrating her mother Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday, Kim made it clear that she’s not listening to what psychics have to say anymore.

“I’m just letting you guys know that all of the fucking psychics that we’ve met with and we’re obsessed with are all fucking full of shit,” she said during a moment in the birthday vlog, which can be seen below. “They all, collectively, maybe four of them, have told me I was gonna pass the bar. So they’re all full pathological liars—don’t believe anything they say.”

Kim took the California Bar Exam in July, and the 45-year-old got her results earlier this month. She revealed that she did not pass in a post shared on her Instagram Stories.

"Well... I'm not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV," she wrote earlier this month. "Six years into this law journey, and I'm still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up, just more studying and even more determination. … Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way so far. Falling short isn't failure, it's fuel. I was so close to passing the exam, and that only motivated me even more.”

She noted that she came close to passing this time around, which has given her more “fuel” to continue her legal journey.

The California Bar Exam is regarded as being difficult, with only a 63.3 pass rate for the February 2025 test. The exam is held twice a year, and consists of five one-hour essay questions, one 90-minute performance test, and 200 multiple-choice questions. It’s no small feat to pass the exam, which is estimated to be taken by around 16,000 people annually.

Kim has been studying law through California’s Law Office Study Program for the past six years. She started an apprenticeship at a San Francisco law firm in 2018, which she later graduated from in May 2025. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and work commitments, she was forced to extend her studies.

She's said that she was inspired to get into law because of her late father, Robert Kardashian, who most famously was part of O.J. Simpson’s defense team. She passed the First-year Law Students’ Examination, which is often referred to as the “baby bar,” in 2021.
