Spotify has debuted Kim Kardashian’s long-in-development true crime podcast series The System: The Case of Kevin Keith.

The show’s titular subject was convicted of triple homicide in 1994. He has long maintained his innocence, and he and his family have spent almost three decades trying to prove he was wrongly accused. The series is the latest of Kim’s prison reform efforts, and will shed light on how no physical evidence links Keith to the crime.

Kim narrates the podcast, which debuted its first two episodes today. In a post on Instagram promoting The System, Kardashian described Keith’s case as “deeply twisted and incredibly heartbreaking from all sides.”

"In February of 1994, Kevin Keith was arrested and charged with a triple homicide in Bucyrus, Ohio," reads the synopsis for the pod. "There is no physical evidence exclusively tying him to the crime, yet he has spent 28 years of his life behind bars, with many of those on death row. Kevin’s brother Charles has always been convinced of his innocence, and to this day, works relentlessly to clear Kevin’s name."

Kim tweeted about Keith’s case in 2019, and expressed support for how he was pulled from death row after the governor of Ohio commuted his sentence to life without parole.

New episodes of the podcast will debut every Monday. Listen to the first two below.
