The end of HBO's fantasy spectacle Game of Thrones is finally upon us. This weekend, the show will come to a close with Season 8 Episode 6, and needless to say fans are nervous for what's to come. After Dany burned King's Landing to the ground in "The Bells," there's a real sense of dread going into the finale. Before the episode arrives, HBO has offered one last tease via two new promo images.

"The Bells" saw Daenerys reign fire down upon the surrended forces and innocent civilians of King's Landing in a shocking moment that divided viewers, and the follow-up episode looks to explore the aftermath of that chaos. As first glimpsed in the teaser trailer, the new image, which you can see up to, shows Emilia Clarke's Daenerys soaking in her victory before her troops.
Meanwhile, the second shot shows Peter Dinklage's Tyrion with a broodling look on his face. It remains to be seen what direction the episode will take considering how many loose ends have been quickly tied up, but it's clear that it won't be pretty. It won't be much longer until fans finally known who will take the Iron Throne.
The last ever episode of Game of Thrones airs on HBO on May 19.
