For almost a decade, Ezra Miller has established himself as one of our most exciting young actors. The 26-year-old has appeared in everything from hard-hitting indie dramas (We Need to Talk About Kevin) to blowout superhero movies (Justice League), and later this month he's set to appear in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. But his rise to fame has been anything but smooth. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Miller opened up about an on-set incident that occurred when he was younger.

"They gave me wine and I was underaged," he said of his experience. "They were like, 'Hey, want to be in our movie about gay revolution?' And I was like, 'No, you guys are monsters.'" He didn't name anyone in particular, but he did make sure to say how much he appreciates the changing attitudes towards assault and harassment in Hollywood.

"It's a great fuckin' age of being like, 'You know what? That shit's unacceptable,' And it's amazing for a lot of us to watch," he explained. "Cause, like, we all knew it was unacceptable when we fucking survived it. That's what Hollywood is. I thought we all knew we were sex workers." Last year, the #MeToo movement spread online and beyond, after prominent figures in the industry came forward with their stories of sexual assault and harassment.

As for his opinions on fame, Miller isn't exactly a fan. With no social-media presence, the actor has made somewhat of an effort to stay out of the spotlight. "If you watch the world, the cults of celebrity and the fanatics of celebrities, that's what governs the world now," he added.

Miller's standalone Flash movie, Flashpointis scheduled to be released in 2020.
