Good Morning America co-hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach reportedly won’t face any disciplinary action for their alleged affair.

Per Page Six, an ABC staffer familiar with the situation said that the network does not plan to punish the couple, because it’s potential “ratings gold” for them. The two have removed their Instagram accounts amid the rumors they’re an item, but they still appeared on the show after pictures of them together surfaced online because ABC News president Kim Goodwin “wanted them on the show.” TMZ also reported that ABC believes the two haven’t done anything to warrant punishment, because they’re two consenting adults with no power imbalance.

The sources have added that they both separated from their respective spouses in August, just weeks apart. Robach and Holmes began their relationship “shortly thereafter.” Robach is still married to actor Andrew Shue, while Holmes is married to attorney Marilee Fiebig.

As the rumors circulated online, ABC executives have been holding a series of “emergency meetings” to address the situation, per The New York Post. It is believed they will both “keep their jobs if their ratings hold up” over the next few weeks, because “it’s ultimately about the ratings” and ABC believes the “ratings are going to go through the roof.”

During their appearance on Good Morning America on Thursday, the pair ignored the rumors and hosted the show as usual. “Who is looking forward to the weekend?” asked Holmes, to which Robach laughed, “Uh, me!” Holmes then added, “Yeah? of course we are.”
