Amazon has finally unleashed a teaser trailer for the franchise’s new long-awaited Prime Video series 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.'

Lord of the Rings fans got their own win on Super Bowl Sunday.

Amazon has finally unleashed a teaser trailer for the franchise’s new Prime Video series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which stars Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Nazanin Boniadi, and others. The show is based on stories by J. R. R. Tolkien and takes place thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and has been developed by show runners J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay.

In the new video, viewers are hit with the question, “haven’t you ever wondered what else is out there?” before being subjected to pretty scenery in waterfalls and beyond. Very little is revealed about the series in the teaser, but the self-proclaimed “wonders in this world beyond our wondering” are set to arrive on the streaming service on Sept. 2.

Executive producers for the show include Lindsey Weber, Callum Greene, J.A. Bayona, Belén Atienza, Justin Doble, Jason Cahill, Gennifer Hutchison, Bruce Richmond, and Sharon Tal Yguado, while Ron Ames and Christopher Newman are behind production, per Deadline, which reports that the story follows the “re-emergence” of evil in Middle-earth.

“Before the king, before the fellowship, before the ring, a new legend begins this fall,” the teaser shares.
