Last night's Nintendo Direct was full of trailers and announcements that will get any Wii U or 3DS owner's mouth watering.

10. Free-to-Play Steel Diver Now Available
If you have a 3DS, you can go to the eShop and play Steel Diver: Sub Wars free of charge.
It's a first-person submarine shooter. The game offers crew customization and local and online multiplayer. Like any good free-to-play game, there's a "premium" version with more single player missions, more submarines, and more crew members.
9. NES Remix 2 Coming April 25
NES Remix 2
is coming this Spring to Wii U. For $14.99, gamers will get to play mashed-up versions of games like Ice Climbers, Punch-Out!!, Metroid, and Super Mario Bros. 2.
It will also come with Super Luigi Bros., which will make Mario's brother the titular character and scroll form right to left in a mirrored version of the game.
8. A New Ace Attorney is Coming
During the Japanese stream of yesterday's Nintendo Direct, a brief announcement flashed for a new project by Capcom. According to Kotaku, it translates to "Ace Attorney: a New Project Begins."
There is no word yet on an American release.
7. X's Combat System Based On Xenoblade Chronicles
Monolith Software's upcoming Wii U title, only known as X, will feature an upgraded version of the combat system from Xenoblade Chronicles. There's still very little information about the game otherwise, but this should give us an idea of how the game will play.
6. Mario Kart 8 Releasing May 30
Mario Kart 8 is coming to Wii U on May 30 and it's bringing the Koopalings.
Bowser's spawn will join the cast of the game, as you can see in the trailer above.
5. Mario Golf: World Tour Arriving May 2
May 2 will be a big day for 3DS owners. Mario Golf World Tour will come out the same day as Kirby Triple Deluxe.
In the single player "Castle Club," players will develop their golfer's specific skills.
The game was supposed to come out last summer, but was delayed to 2014.
4. Kirby Triple Deluxe Arriving May 2
Kirby Triple Deluxe will come to the 3DS on May 2. The platformer will give Kirby new abilities and puzzles to solve, including using his powers of inhalation to move large objects.
3. A Look at Bayonetta 2
Bayonetta is coming back exclusively on Wii U, Nintendo gave us a quick look at the game. It's still absolutely over-the-top (just why we liked the first one!). Still no release date besides a vague "2014," though.
2. Game Boy Advance Games Coming to Wii U Virtual Console
Game Boy Advance games will be coming to the Wii U's virtual console this April.
Nintendo dropped some names, including Metroid Fusion, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
1. Little Mac Joins Super Smash Bros.
Punch-Out!!star Little Mac is joining the roster of fighters in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U. Considering his heritage as a fighter, he seems like a great fit.
He'll join a roster of returning characters like Mario and Peach and new characters including Mega Man and Rosalina.
The game is still scheduled for a vague 2014 release window.
