The Game is setting the record straight about a number of rumors about his relationship with Shaniece Hairston and Evelyn Lozada.
In a new interview on the Drop the Lo podcast, co-hosted by Hairston and Lozada, the rapper sat down with the women and shut down several claims that have circulated online for years.

The Game says Shaniece Hairston never sat on his lap as a child
Hairston, now 32, asked The Game, 46, if she ever sat on his lap at age 12 while calling him "uncle."
“No. 1, I'm not fucking Santa Claus,” The Game said near the 56-minute mark in the video linked above. “Number 2, I'm not inappropriate with children, ever. Like, even my own nieces, as much as I love them. I squeeze them, I hug them, and if they're, let's say, when they were 2 and 3 years old—obviously you pick little kids up. They love to be picked up … But as they get older, you have to respect your unclehood, right? And you have to respect them growing up as young men and young women, right?”
He added, “I'm not even on those vibes with my actual nieces and nephews or any of my homies' kids. They're little, they call you Uncle Game, you throw them up, you love them. Anybody that knows me knows that about me. And so when people make up these rumors, again, I think it's absurd. I laugh the shit off and I just be like, ‘People are absolutely fucking insane.’"
The Game clarifies the relationship between Evelyn Lozada and Tiffney Cambridge
When the topic of whether Lozada and Tiffney Cambridge were best friends came up, The Game explained that Hollywood relationships can be misunderstood by those on the outskirts of fame.
Cambridge dated the rapper for eight years and co-starred with him in VH1’s Marrying the Game from 2012 to 2014. The Game confirmed that they called off their engagement in 2015. The former couple share 18-year-old son King Justice Taylor and 15-year-old daughter California "Cali" Dream.
Lozada, who appeared on VH1’s Basketball Wives, was accused online of betraying Cambridge following the news of Hairston’s pregnancy.
"People have to understand what Hollywood is and what celebrities are,” he said. “Celebrities come to celebrity people's shit... But I don't think there's ever been a point where you guys were like best friends, not saying that you wouldn't be, but it's just you have your own best friends, and I know Tiff like the back of my hand. She has a small group of best friends, and Evelyn's not in it, right."
Lozada added that attending events like baby showers in Hollywood is often a public, PR-driven affair rather than an intimate personal interaction.

The discussion turned to the more salacious rumors. When asked if he ever had sex with Lozada, 50, or had a threesome with her and Hairston, The Game called the idea "absurd."
"Never, we don't even give each other that type of energy, those type of vibes,” he said. “No. 1 is fucking disgusting. No. 2, we are like a dope ass gangster lil family … But yeah, that's not our vibe, man.”
Lozada clarified that some of the rumors started because people misinterpreted situations.
The Game added, "Some of this shit is so off the wall, like, you literally have to just sip your tea and keep on going on with your day because … it doesn't need to be addressed. It's so disturbing that someone would even drum that up and literally try to throw that into a public forum or a public space.”
Hairston also asked about claims that she might be a gold digger, and The Game dismissed them, saying, "No, I can't say that about you ... If you wanted to be, you could, but that's just not your character."
Lozada echoed that she never intervened or influenced her daughter's choices, saying, "We do not ever discuss ... who you're talking to."
In 2024, Hairston announced she was expecting a child with The Game, who is Cambridge's ex-fiancé. Later that year, she gave birth to a son, Blaze Taylor.
Lozada said she considers Cambridge "cool as shit" but that they are not close friends during an August 2025 appearance on Stepping Into the Shade Room.
