Eleven years after his death, Paul Walker's family and former co-stars are remembering the late actor with a series of tributes.
Walker, who died at age 40 in a car accident in 2013, was commemorated this weekend by his daughter, Meadow Walker, and his Fast & Furious co-stars Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster.
On Saturday, Meadow, 26, shared a carousel of photos to her Instagram account of herself with her father throughout the years. The photos showed an Easter outing, dad and daughter in the Bahamas, and a recent snapshot of herself standing in front of Walker's “old office” at the Universal lot.
“11 years without you. I miss you everyday. I love you so much,” she captioned the post.
“I woke up so edgy today. Annoyed by EVERY. Little. Thing. Then I remembered. My stomach dropped. Someone isn’t here who should be,” Brewster, 44, wrote on her Instagram.
“The one that lifted up everyone around him. The one who worked his ass off but didn’t let it show. The one with grace and humor,” she continued. “#11years Miss you forever @paulwalker.”
“@meadowwalker is carrying on your legacy through her beauty and strength,” she added.
“Eleven years, today… Some bonds truly never break.. Grateful, for that eternal brotherhood. Love and miss you,” Diesel, 57, shared along with a black and white snapshot with Walker.
Paul Walker died in a single-car collision on Nov. 30, 2013, according to People.
The actor was riding as a passenger in his friend Roger Rodas’ red Porsche through Santa Clarita, California, when Rodas suddenly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete lamp post and two trees.
At the time of his passing, Walker had attended an event for the Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW) charity he founded.
