Pam Grier says that one of the best parts of aging is her ability to have a “three-day” orgasm.
The 76-year-old blaxploitation film star made the claim on Wednesday’s episode of the podcast Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Near the nine-minute mark in the episode linked here, Louis-Dreyfus asked Grier about her age and youthful energy during her opening questions segment.
Grier answered, "I think I might be 77 this year. I might be. I don't know, nor do I care. If I wake up breathing I'm going to have a good day."
Louis-Dreyfus told Grier she seemed incredibly young and full of life, leading Grier to make the conversation's most memorable comment.
“I mean, just by the amount of energy you have right now and the bubbling up zest you've got for life—I was going to ask you how old do you feel. But you must feel very young. You seem very young to me. Do you feel young?” Louis-Dreyfus asked.
“Well, yes, I do. Because when you're young, you can have three, four, five orgasms in an hour," Grier said. “But when you get my age, you have one orgasm. It'll last three days.”
A shocked Louis-Dreyfus asked, "What are you talking about? Like, what are you doing down there to get a three-day orgasm? I need details."
Grier insisted there was nothing special involved, saying, "You don't have to do anything, but when it happens, I just want to tell you: you just be prepared. It's going to be three whole days."
Louis-Dreyfus tried to clarify whether Grier had discovered a specific method or whether it was simply something that came with aging.
“I think it's my age,” Grier responded.
Louis-Dreyfus then joked, "Maybe when you're 90, it'll be a whole week."
Grier laughed and added, “If I could have had that when I was younger, I would have had a better life and better boyfriends, OK?”
