Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are separated, according to a report from TMZ.
The couple married in 2006 and have two teenaged children together.
Multiple sources with knowledge of the matter told the outlet that the couple had been living separately since “the beginning of summer.”
Kidman, 58, had reportedly been taking care of their two children, 17-year-old Sunday and 14-year-old Faith, while “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.”
The outlet also claimed that Kidman did not want the separation and had attempted to save the marriage.
Urban, 57, allegedly moved out of their family home in Nashville, Tennessee, and acquired his own residence in the same city.
The former couple first met in 2005 and tied the knot the following year in a ceremony held in Sydney.
News of their separation comes months after Urban appeared to abruptly exit an interview in July with Australian radio program Hayley and Max in the Morning after he was asked a personal question about Kidman.
During the radio show’s segment called “Wall of Truth,” host Max Burford brought up Kidman’s recent film A Family Affair, in which she starred opposite Zac Efron.
Burford asked, “What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV and radio?”
Following the question, Urban was suddenly disconnected from the call.
Although the radio hosts suspected that Urban’s team hung up because they “didn’t want us to ask that question,” a source told People that Urban himself did not end the call.
"Keith did not hang up, period," the source said at the time. "He doesn't host his Zoom interviews. This is a complete nothingburger."
Urban is currently touring with his High and Alive World Tour, which is set to resume on Oct. 3 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The 2025 North American leg will conclude in Nashville on Oct. 17.
