Little Women: Atlanta star Ms. Juicy was arrested in Georgia and hit with two charges tied to driving offenses.
According to an inmate report reviewed by Complex, the 54-year-old reality TV star (real name Shirleen Evette King-Pearson) was booked on April 18 for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
The Barrow County Sheriff's Office confirmed the arrest and told TMZ she did make bail, though the amount was not disclosed. The arrest record viewed by Complex shows two bond amounts, one for $2,214.00 and a second for $1,510.00.
TMZ notes that the arresting officer placed handcuffs on her wrists in front of her body due to her size and double-locked them.
Although Ms. Juicy appears to be active on her social media, she did not appear to make a statement on any of her accounts regarding the incident.
The Texas-born reality star is also a radio host, actress, and talent manager. She worked on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show until 2019 after a 14-year run and became widely known for her breakout role on Lifetime's Little Women: Atlanta in 2016, which ran for six seasons through 2021.
She quickly became a fan favorite and is known for her presence and catchphrases, including "It's Ms. Juicy, baby," and "I'm the queen of Atlanta, boo."
In 2022, Ms. Juicy suffered a serious stroke and spent nearly a month in the ICU.
“I am not at 100%, but I am still healing,” Pearson told her followers at the time. “I want to say thank you for all of the love and support … and I appreciate y’all being concerned.”
