IShowSpeed feels like he’s getting older and more masculine after shaving his beard for the first time.

“I shaved my beard for the first time, bro,” said the 21-year-old near the six-minute mark in the stream linked here.

He added, “Like, that was such a masculine feeling, bro. I looked in the mirror and shaved my hair. I’m not gonna lie, bro, that kind of brought me back, like, ‘Yo, I’m really getting older.’”

After getting trolled by the chat, Speed zoomed his camera in to show off some of his stubble.

Elsewhere in Speed-related news, the popular streamer received praise from Vic Mensa, who applauded Speed for giving a “firsthand account of the glory of Africa.”

Speaking on an episode of One54 Africa in Febuary, Vic touched on Speed’s 28-day livestream tour of Africa last month. “Speed's tour is singlehandedly undoing a massive amount of propaganda in the minds of so many,” Vic said. “Not just the youth, either, like just in the minds of so many American people.”

He added: “I see elder black people. I see younger—I see white kids saying similar things [like], ‘Oh, I didn't know everyone wasn't in loin cloths running from baboons.’ Which sounds ridiculous but, also, Americans are not educated,” Mensa continued. “They are able to keep this massive finesse going because Americans are not educated. Americans not only don't have education, they have constant propaganda that is anti-intellectual force-fed to them.”
