Druski Says He Quit Weed After Begging Friends to ‘Call the Police’ While High

One bad experience in high school made the comedian swear off weed for good.

Druski says a chaotic high school incident is the reason why he swore off weed for good.

The 31-year-old comedian made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday (Dec. 3) ahead of his upcoming The Coulda Fest Tour stop at the Kia Forum on Saturday in Los Angeles.

The show, which is set to feature guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Chief Keef, and Wiz Khalifa, prompted Kimmel to ask Druski if he partakes in marijuana.

"Are you a smoker?" Kimmel asked near the five-minute, 34-second mark in the video above.

"No, not at all," Druski answered.

Kimmel pressed him on whether he was supposed to stop smoking, and Druski corrected him with, "No, I quit." After Kimmel joked that he would be starting again on Saturday, Druski insisted, "No, no, no, no, I won't."

The comedian explained, “I quit in high school, man. I used to smoke all the time. We had a bad experience. I got high and I begged all my friends to call the police on me … and that was probably the dumbest thing I could have ever.”

Druski later clarified that his friends did not call the police but instead just took him home.

As the conversation wrapped, Kimmel teased him about touring with heavy smokers like Snoop Dogg.

"If Snoop hands you something that's on fire, don't put it in your mouth,” the late-night host said, prompting laughter from the studio audience.

Druski’s Los Angeles show is also set to include appearances from Soulja Boy, G Herbo, Shaboozey, Caleb Pressley, Young M.A, Navv Greene, and more.
