DDG says he’s one of the most influential creators of all time.
In a new episode of Complex’s 360 With Speedy, the 27-year-old streamer was asked to name the three most influential content creators of the current generation.
“I would say I'm one of the most influential content creators of all time,” said DDG around the seven-minute mark.
“Why so?” asked Morman.
“I motivated a lot of people. I've inspired a lot of people. You know, just me coming from a very regular environment and making it to where I'm at, documenting the whole thing, and making it funny and entertaining at the same time,” DDG explained.
He also shared that many people have approached him to say they were inspired by his journey and became millionaires themselves.
When reverting back to Speedy’s question, DDG named himself, Kai Cenat, and after a few seconds to think, Plaqueboymax.
“People would say [iShow]Speed though. But I feel like Speed is in the lane of, like, you can't redo what Speed doing,” DDG added. “Only Speed can do what Speed do. He's very entertaining, but can he create another speed, you know?”
He added, “It can be another Max, it can be another DDG, it can be another Kai, can't be another Speed. So we have influence for people to actually make it to the point that we’re at.”
