Chrisean Rock insists her son doesn’t have a disability while seemingly implying that she doesn’t have to “accept” a medical diagnosis.
The topic came up when the 26-year-old appeared on Monday’s episode of The Danza Project podcast, and read text messages she allegedly received from boxer Ryan Garcia in regards to Chrisean Jr., the son she shares with Blueface.
Near the 19-minute mark in the video linked above, Chrisean read aloud a supposed text from Garcia that said, “‘If it's anything I could do, I’m here. The part that really messed with me is that Blueface doesn't seem active in the child's life because of his disability.’”
Rock quickly fired back, clarifying that she never said her son had a disability.
“So I said, ‘My son does not have a disability. He is developing at his own pace and hitting his milestones in his own timing. Every child is different and I'm confident in his growth,” Rock said, while reading from her phone.
“I ain't say none of that,” she added, once again referring to her child’s disability. “Watch your mouth.”
Rock, who was baptized in November 2024 following a stint in jail, also referred to a "revelation" she heard from God by implying that she chooses to rely on her faith instead of a medical diagnosis.
“It's like saying if someone [is] a doctor, anybody speak against your kid or yourself, then you should not accept it, bro,” Rock said. “If they're guessing or whatever: no. The word said what the word said. God says what God says. I don't have to accept what you [say]. So, it's really me protecting a revelation that I heard from the Lord over my son.”
In a November 2025 interview with DJ Vlad, Blueface also said Chrisean Jr. does not have a disability but blamed his development on Rock.
"There is no disability. The only disability is her," Blueface said at the time. "She's not into [motherhood] enough. So the things you normally do with kids and you know how they start off walking and talking, it's a buildup to that and it takes a lot of you walking and talking to them. That's where she's like not doing enough at."
"He can see. He can stand. He can move. He's very agile. [He] is very mobile," he continued, adding that the child "doesn't talk."
"He makes noises and stuff," Blueface added. "If you put the time into it, it'll happen. But if you don't, it's not going to happen for any baby, gang. Like, if you have a baby and you leave him in the stroller all day or you just leave him … You're not as intuitive and tentative, you're not putting on these kid shows and things for him to see and hear kids, any child's going to be behind."
The rapper did say that Chrisean Jr. briefly suffered from a hernia that caused a brief mobility issue but was soon corrected.
Chrisean Rock dated Blueface from 2020 to 2023. She welcomed Chrisean Jr. on September 3, 2023 and livestreamed the delivery via Instagram Live.
