Chris Pratt admits he’s giving his undivided attention to Patrick Schwarzenegger’s full-frontal nude scenes on The White Lotus.
Pratt, who has been married to Patrick’s sister, Katherine Schwarzenegger, since 2019, was asked about his brother-in-law’s nude scenes in the HBO hit series’ third scene at Monday’s premiere of his new film The Electric State in Los Angeles.
“Where does everybody’s eyes go—during his ‘not safe for family’ scenes? Because there's a handful of them,” asked E! News’ Will Marfuggi.
“I know where my eyes went. I'm not blood-related to him, but I was looking at that dick, bro,” said Pratt, 45, with a laugh.
“No, he looks amazing. Obviously, he’s a physical specimen, but also he’s a really solid actor, because the character he’s playing is completely different than who he is,” he added. “He created a character. And it feels natural and good. I’ve been telling everybody for years, I’ve been telling him as well, I really think we’re entering a decade of Patrick.”
“I’ve been watching him, he’s just been working hard,” Pratt continued. “He’s actually a hustler across the board, not just with acting but with business, and everything. He’s super driven, and I know he gets that from both his mom and his dad.”
31-year-old Patrick, whose parents are Arnold Schwarzenegger, 77, and 69-year-old Maria Shriver, mentioned during a press conference earlier this month that some “uncomfortable conversations” about his scenes in White Lotus may be had after they watch the show.
“There’ll be some times that I take some bathroom breaks when the family [watches]," Patrick joked at the time. “Maybe I won’t watch that episode [with my family]. I don’t know, we’ll see. But they’re super excited.”
Arnold reacted to his son's nude scenes with a post on his Instagram captioned, "I was so pumped to take a break from filming to celebrate @patrickschwarzenegger at the White Lotus Season 3 premiere. What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say - the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Don’t miss it this Sunday - trust me."
