Marvel’s Black Panther may be a superhero movie, but if you've seen it, you know that it’s about more than action. The two-hour journey through Wakanda is also filled with love and passion, fitting for the post Valentine’s Day weekend. One man, dressed as King T’Challa himself, took advantage of the historic weekend opening by using it as an opportunity to propose to his girlfriend.

Of course, she said yes.

The bride-to-be attended a February 15 screening with a group of her friends, according to Mashable. Then her boyfriend, dressed as the Wakandan king, walked into the theater without a ticket, got down on his knee, and popped the question. The proposal took place in a Brooklyn Alamo Drafthouse, and several audience members went on Twitter to document the heart-melting moment.

Many dressed up to watch the movie this weekend, but people on the internet are absolutely smitten with this cosplay proposal.

Alamo Drafthouse is telling other movie-goers that it’s time to step up their game.

Even Marvel was touched.
