Chris Pratt is tying the knot with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter Katherine, sharing the news on his Instagram account Monday.
“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you,” theGuardians of the Galaxy star wrote. “Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go! 💍🙏♥️.”
According to People, Pratt’s engagement comes nearly two years after he and actress Anna Faris split up in July 2017. The two were married for eight years, before officially filing for divorce in December 2017. Together, they have a six-year-old son named Jack.
“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating,” the couple shared in a joint statement shared on Facebook at the time. “We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.”
But things between the exes are copacetic. The two co-parent Jack, and even spent Halloween together with their respective significant others, including Katherine. Pratt and Katherine began dating in June 2018, and the whirlwind romance resulted in a quick engagement.
“They’re such a great fit together,” a source told People last fall. “It’s only been a few months but Chris and Katherine are both very serious about the relationship and their friends wouldn’t be surprised if they got engaged sooner rather than later. Katherine has spent time with Chris’ family and they all love her too. She fits in really well with them and vice versa.”
