While And Just Like That may have come to a bittersweet (and polarizing) end this past week, it won’t be the last we see of Carrie Bradshaw. Or, at the very least, her famous outfits.

In an interview with People published Sunday, Aug. 17 — just three days after the And Just Like That series finale — Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that she has kept some of her beloved character’s outfits. And that she will occasionally wear them at parties and other celebrations.

"I just did it," Parker said. "I was invited to a birthday party in England, and we were already nearby, so I pulled from the archive."

Parker admitted that she doesn’t wear Carrie’s clothes all the time, but that some of these looks were too iconic to only wear once.

"It's one of the few occasions I've ever pulled from the archive for personal use," she said, "It's not every day."

When pulling from the Sex and the City and And Just Like That archive, Parker said she takes a “very thoughtful” approach. She revealed the series of questions she asks herself: "What would the circumstances and the environment be that I would be wearing this, and would it be okay and safe, or would it be destroyed? I'm very judicious about that."

Parker originated the role of Carrie upon Sex and the City’s premiere in 1998. The show’s original iteration ran from 1998 to 2004 on HBO. Following the show’s end, two movies — Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2 — released in theaters in 2008 and 2010, respectively. The Sex and the City spinoff And Just Like That streamed on HBO Max from 2021 until 2025.

While And Just Like That sparked mixed responses from critics and fans, core Sex and the City fans will always remember Carrie’s affinity for fashion. And Parker certainly isn’t letting any of these looks fade from memory.
