On the one hand the service allows famous folk to continue being famous by pushing their famousness more thoroughly onto the people who consider them to be famous. On the other, the close proximity Twitter grants the famous and the fans can sometimes backfire. If a celeb does something that's considered taboo, dumb, or ridiculous, they can all but expect to be send a barrage of criticism by any of Twitter's 100 million users. Cyrus showed that she's still below the learning curve, posting a photo of a new tattoo on her ring finger featuring an equal sign and the message “All LOVE is equal.” It only took a matter of minutes before follower @MileyCyrusLuver began quoting Bible verses against homosexuality on Cyrus page. The actor/singer snarled back: "Where does it say in the Bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn't. GOD is the only judge honey. 'GOD is love'." Right message, poor execution.
