Donald Glover has joined the campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang as a creative consultant.
News of Glover's involvement with the campaign comes on the heels of the Awaken, My Love! artist collaborating with Yang on a pop-up event that went down in Los Angeles on Thursday. Sweatshirts, hats, and posters were on sale during the event. "The specialized merchandise embodies the core policies and values of Andrew Yang’s Humanity First platform and future collaborations are expected," Yang's team said.
"Had a blast with Donald Glover today! Big thanks to everyone who came out in L.A.!," Yang wrote on Twitter of the pop-up.
Other people that have showed support for Yang include Weezer's Rivers Cuomo and Elon Musk.
Yang is currently participating at the sixth Democratic primary debate at Los Angeles' Loyola Marymount University.
