It seems that Daniel Craig might return as James Bond, though it has yet to be officially confirmed. What has been confirmed is that the new James Bond film, the twenty fifth in the franchise, is set to be released in November of 2019. Craig has so far played 007 in four Bond films, beginning with 2006's Casino Royale, then followed by 2008's Quantum of Solace, 2012's Skyfall, and 2015's Spectre. The New York Timesreported that two anonymous sources claim that Craig will be involved in the 25th Bond film.

Who would play James Bond has come into question as of late. Last year reports filtered through that Craig turned down a cool $100 million to reprise his role for two more films. Craig was also quoted as saying he "rather break this glass and slash my wrists" than play Bond again.

Some fans clamored for Idris Elba to take the part, to which Bond book series author Anthony Horowitz said Elba was "too street" for the role. Many took the comment to be shorthand for Black. Tom Hiddleston, Tom Hardy, and Jamie Bell were also rumored for the role.

The script for the new, yet to be titled Bond movie will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who both wrote the previous six Bond films. The film will be produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.

The upcoming James Bond film is set to be out in theaters on November 8, 2019. In the meantime, stay tuned for a teaser/trailer.
