Fourth ‘Bad Boys’ Movie in the Works, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence Announce

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will team up once again for the fourth installment in 'Bad Boys' movie franchise. The duo made the announcement on social media.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will team up once again as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett for the fourth installment in Bad Boys movie franchise.

The duo made the announcement in a video they posted to social media. “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!” both Smith and Lawrence captioned their posts, which you can view below.

According to Variety, the film is currently in early pre-production and will be directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. Chris Bremner is writing the script.

Bad Boys for Life, the franchise’s third installment, was released to theaters back in January of 2020 and made a $426.5 million at the global box office during its run. Prior to that, Bad Boys II dropped all the way back in 2003 and made $273.3 million during its worldwide theatrical run. The first Bad Boys movie hit theaters in 1995.

In other news, Smith’s latest film Emancipation was released last month. The Antoine Fuqua-directed movie also stars Ben Foster, Charmaine Bingwa, Steven Ogg, Mustafa Shakir, Timothy Hutton, and others.
