Controversial Summer House ladies' man Imrul Hassan — nicknamed “orgy beast” by his housemates — took to his Instagram Story to announce his future plans for the reality TV show.

The newcomer, who joined the cast for its most recent season, said he made his decision a week before publicly announcing it on Wednesday, June 18.

“I’ve decided not to return for another season of Summer House,” he wrote. “I know, shocking.”

Hassan, a real estate broker from Bangladesh who now lives in NYC, was famously edited out of much of his time on Season 9 of the hit show, as explained in May on Reality Tea. Yet, he had nice things to say about his overall experience.

“It was an incredible opportunity, and I truly had a lot of fun,” he wrote. “I won’t drag this out, but I want to say thank you for all your support.”

He then thanked his castmates for their support of his foundation, which teaches English to the people of the impoverished island village where he was born.

“Overall, [being on Summer House] was a really good experience,” he ended his announcement. “Would recommend. Much love, Imrul Beast.”

On the reunion, Hassan said his nickname “orgy beast” wasn’t entirely accurate and came from telling his cast mates he had gone to a Hamptons “sex party” without clarifying that it wasn’t something he did often.

Since the season ended, Hassan’s short time on the show has proven controversial. “In a show about hooking up and partying in the Hamptons, finally someone comes on the show to do just that and everyone freaks,” said a fan on Reddit in May.

“I think he has gotten a really bad edit,” agreed another fan. “I don’t even care that he brings home girls from the bar. He’s young, single, and open about his one-night-stands…I wish we had gotten to know him more.”
