Remember 'American Gladiators'? The iconic competition show, which pits amateur athletes against one another, is coming back to TV.

Remember American Gladiators? The iconic competition show, which pits amateur athletes against one another, is coming back to TV—and this time, Seth Rogen is helping lead production.

Deadline reports Rogen and longtime collaborator Evan Goldberg will serve as executive producers of the reboot. John Ferraro, who produced the O.G. American Gladiators, is also involved in the project. The show has not yet landed on a network, but production giant MGM is currently shopping its rights.

The original show ran from 1989-96. It came back in 2008, and Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali hosted the program. That version lasted two seasons and 21 episodes. Jennifer Widerstrom, who went on to replace Jillian Michaels as a trainer on The Biggest Loser, got her start on the show, going by the name Phoenix.

Rogen and Goldberg are childhood friends known for their collaborative efforts on Superbad, Pineapple Express, This Is the End, and The Interview.

The new Gladiators already has an official Twitter account.

If you're interested in reliving old episodes of the show, you can do so through Hulu or Amazon Prime.
